Default Medicare and health reform

Interesting take in this article below. Can you really cut Medicare payments by 33% and still have it be a high quality-of-care program?

I’ve found out from the internet resource that the real problem is the readmission, the low quality they have the higher cost they paid. And I just got confuse about cutting off the Medicare payment in 33%, if it’s possible too. Regarding to your question, I guess it’s not impossible to still have a high quality care behind the cut off of payment. That’s my own opinion with it. Hope it helps too. Thanks a lot!

In my opinion, it is possible if the government can subsidize a large percentage of a high quality health care program. I guess that's
the reason why the government wants to take control over our health insurance. 33% may be considered a big percentage but clearly
it is possible with the actions taken by the government.
